1967

The birth in Italy

The Group was born with the name of Eurotranciatura S.p.A. in Baranzate (Milan), a company that manufactured and distributed blanked electrical steel laminations for electric motors and generators.

1987

The expansion into Europe

The fusion of Eurotranciatura, Alcast and Corrada gave birth to the new EuroGroup Laminations, operating in various European countries.

2006

The globalization

EuroGroup Laminations expanded its range of operations, becoming a global partner for all companies and industries worldwide.

2016

The era of energy transition

The Group became a global market leader in the production of stators and rotors for electric vehicles. In the same year, Euro Group Asia Limited was established in Hong Kong, which subsequently acquired a part of Euro Misi Laminations Jiaxing Co. Ltd. With the increasing adoption of EVs, the Automotive segment registered incredible results.

2020

Financial leadership

In July 2020, EuroGroup Laminations signed an agreement with Tikehau Capital, a pan-European asset manager and investment group. This was the first Italian transaction of the Energy Transition Fund, which has enabled the company to consolidate its international leadership in the EV sector.

Towards the future, every day

We are constantly innovating our solutions, to enhance the planet of tomorrow through efficient electric motors. February 2023: a new milestone, by entering the stock exchange. The Group has been strengthened to prepare for the new challenges and growth.

2023

DS4 acquisition

EuroGroup Laminations announces the acquisition of 100% of DS4, strengthening its position in the industrial automation sector through the integration of advanced skills in custom-made software and hardware design. With this integration, EuroGroup Laminations aims to consolidate its global leadership through new operational synergies, expanding innovation capabilities and strengthening the Group's role in high-tech markets.

2024

Kumar acquisition

We have strengthened our global presence by entering the high-potential Indian market through the acquisition of 40% in Kumar Precision Stampings, a company specialized in magnetic laminations manufacture, both for electric motors and transformers application. This strategic move aims to further consolidate the position of our Industrial Business Unit.
